Trunk or Treat!

Trunk or Treat

We had so much fun!!! At church we had our Trunk or Trick, it is probably one of my favorite things. I love that then kids can have fun in a safe environment and do their trick or treating. There were games, music, food, dancing ( well I guess just me and the kids), tons of cute costumes, and alot of really fun people. The kids had a blast. This year picking out a costume was pretty tough. Getting each one a new costume would break the bank ( I can't believe some of the prices.) So we decided to get creative. A friend of mine had a cute Tinkerbell costume that fit Rylie perfect. ( Thanks Jen) Lillie just got a Princess outfit for her birthday ( thanks Dad and Kathy) I have another friend who has two boys so she let Cooper use a superman outfit, he loves it soooooo much , he really thinks he is Superman when he has it on.(Thanks, Rachel) Then it came to the older girls. They have a friend who was Sharpee (HSM) and they so badly wanted to be her. Well, we picked up some wigs and a mic and used there dance recital outfits from a year and a half ago. They looked perfect, and had fun dressing up. I went as Snow White, ( Thanks, Renee) and the kids just thought that was the coolest thing ever. We had a great time, Ryan was working but did end up getting there before we left. I was so grateful to have the kids Aunt and Uncle come, they helped me out so much. I don't think I would have been coming home with five kids at the end of the night, if they weren't there helping me keep tabs on everyone. ( Thanks K and A)

Sunday Fun!

I just love Sunday's! It is the day we just hangout as a family and just enjoy each other. Even when it is just the seven of us we can all just relax and have fun. But, I love, love, love it when we have others over. For the most part it is just our family crew, Kristy, Kevin and Aslyn. The kids look forward to it every week. Then after dinner and after the little monkeys are in bed it is GAME TIME!!! ( my favorite) I am so grateful for this one day every week, I would love to have more but I am so grateful we at least have one!

Rylie on her Birthday!

Rylie's Birthday Fun!

Rylie had such a fun day. It started off with breakfast and presents. Well I guess I should just say presents, the older kids just were so excited. We then got ready to have a busy day. Grandpa Atha came over and we all headed to the Arizona State Fair. We had a blast. Rylie is such a sweet , great, little baby that she had a good time and just smiled. The other kids thought that she was just so lucky to go to the fair on her birthday. After getting pretty tired we headed out. Stopped by Chik-fil-A ( Rylie's favorite, she eats the chix by the handfuls) Then it was naptime. It was nice because for dinner we just did pizza ( another favorite) and had birthday cupcake's with her Aunt's and uncle. All and all she had a busy but fun day! I love little Rylie Ann and am so glad that she had a good day!

Rylie's One!

Rylie Ann is ONE!!!!

October 25, 2007 what a great day! Watched the Red Sox and had a baby!

Happy Birthday my sweet little Rylie! Time just goes to fast. It has already been one year since little Ry was born and it seems like she is still my little baby. But, I guess in a way she always will be. Rylie brings so much joy into our family. I love that whenever the day isn't going well, or I may feel down all I have to do is look at her and she brightens up the world. Rylie is such a happy girl, she pretty much has a contagious smile glued to her face at all times. She loves her brother and sisters and thinks they are just so funny. ( Not really sure why) Rylie has been such a wonderful baby. She sleeps well , she has a great little personality, she is loving, she eats whatever you give her, doesn't cry like the others did, she just loves everyone. We love our Rylie so much and are so very, very grateful for her to be a part our family. Happy Birthday, Rylie!

Beautiful Girls!

So the girls had their big dance performance on Monday night. The girls have been taking dance through a 12-year-old girl in our neighborhood that they adore. Somehow she gets all these little girls to dance and they have a blast. It is so fun to watch Maizie and Madilyn. I love to see how excited they get and how proud they feel. They were both in the same dance group this time and danced to "Camp Rock" songs, but their favorite was dancing to the "Hairspray" song "Good Morning Baltimore." I think Madie tried to sing it to me a hundred times before I finally realized what she was saying. In the dancing, the girls did a lot of stunts, and Maizie was so wonderful at making sure no one got hurt. Madilyn actually got to stand as part of a pyramid . Both girls love to dance so this has been a great experience for them. Also, I am so thankful for all the family that came; it really made the girls feel special.

Cooper starts school

This week Cooper started preschool. It was wonderful, he just loves it. There are not too many kids in his class so it is really nice because he gets more attention. I am so proud of him and so excited for his new adventure. Though he has come home and told me he has girlfriends, now. He is doing great and having fun, I can't ask for much more then that.

Go Red Sox!!!!

They may have lost the game tonight but they can come back!!! Go Red Sox! Rylie's even a fan!

Birthday Girl

Lillie had a great birthday! She started out the morning with a good breakfast , opened up all her presents and then of course just had fun playing. She got a doll and some doll toys , so pretty much she was busy all day. She still hasn't let her doll go, it goes with her everywhere. The doll has no name it is just "baby" and with Lillie don't even try to call it something different , because that just doesn't fly with her. For lunch we went to the Rain Forest Cafe, it was fun but Lillie's isn't to excited about strangers singing to her. But, she doesn't mind them giving her ice cream. It was then nap time, and I nice little break from the festivities of the day. We had dinner and then cake and ice cream, the day went fast but it was great. She is two now and is so excited, time flies when you are having fun.

Lillie's Two!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Lillie!!!

Holy moly, I can't believe it has been two years. October 3rd is a great day , because it is the day Lillie Sue came into our life. She has been such a fun blessing. Lillie was born up in Oregon, we lived up there while Ryan was in law school. She was born at 2:13 in the afternoon. It was such a beautiful day outside. But in the delievery room not so much fun. I remember asking at about noon if I could get an epidural because her labor pains were really, really bad ( the worst of all five). Well the edipural guy came SLOWLY walking in around 2 sat down by me like nothing was going on. (With how I was feeling I am surprised he is still alive) Anyways, the nurses checked me and said I wasn't going to be able to have an epidural because I was to far along. The guy just sat there, even Ryan was ticked at him and that says alot. One thing led to another and I looked at Ryan and thought something hurts really, really bad , the doctor walked in a yep Lillie was headed out. At the time we didn't know if we would be having a boy or girl. When I saw we had another precious, healthy little girl I couldn't be happier. Lillie was nameless until about 2 hours before I left the hospital , her name fits her and we love our Lillie so very much. I look forward to watching her grow and being her mother. Happy Birthday sweet Lillie Sue.

Lillie-- This was Ryan's Great-Grandmother's name. Spelled the same.
Sue-- Ryan's mother's middle name.

No, not all our names come from Ryans family, all our kids names have very special meanings, I love that so much because we have a story behind them all.
