Disneyland, Surprise!!!!

So for Maizie's 7th birthday this year we surprised her with a trip to Disneyland! We brought the kids over to a friends house ( Thank you Rachel! ) Then told Maizie we were headed to California to spent her birhtday with Mickey! It was so much fun. I think I loved it just as much as she did. Maizie is super brave and went on all the rollercoasters. She even went on Space Mountain twice. It was truly a perfect day, no lines, no crowds just a fun birthday.( Thank you so much Mike!)

Hockey January 2009

Let's start at the beginning

Life is very busy, and I just haven't had time to update very well. But we are back and I figure I will start at the begining of the year. In January, Maizie, Madilyn and Cooper started Hockey they played for four weeks and had so much fun. Maizie and Madie would have rather been figure skating instead of playing Hockey, but this at least got them on the ice. Maizie really surprised us, by the end she was able to jump and play really well. She was even recommended to be on the top hockey team for her age. Madie started off a little rocky but really ended well ,she would get pretty cold out on the ice but loved it. She loves to skate on the ice now. Cooper was pretty funny, the first day he held on to a bucket the whole time. Then he would come home and tell us, " I don't need a bucket next week!" and sure enough he didn't. He ended up skating like all the other big kids.  It was fun for us to be able to watch the kids out on the ice, but it was really hard for little Lillie she just really wanted to be out with them. She spent a lot of time looking at the vending machines while the kids were playing.
