Times almost up!

So in the morning we head in to have little Preslie. Wow, time is here, I am ready , but not ready to bring a new baby home. Holy Cow. This is way more frightening then having my first, because when I get home I have 5 others who are going to need me. It will all work out, right? Well, we will let you all know when she gets here. I am excited to meet and see this new little baby!!

Trip to the Dentist

The three younger kids had dentist appointments this week, and, between the three of them, NO CAVITIES! Lillie's expression probably best depicts how the rest of us feel about the dentist. Cooper is just happy to not have to get knocked out and have work done again. And Rylie's "cheese" pic was taken right after she got done with the dentist. Rylie is very conscious about food getting stuck in her teeth and often will go searching for floss around the house, then lays down and opens her mouth wide to have her teeth cleaned. Funny little girl. Overall, the kids are pretty good because they love their dentist and it is usually painless.

First Day of School!!!

M and M started school last Monday, July 27th, which seems a bit early for school to begin, but they get 2 weeks off in October and two weeks off for Spring Break. And with it being so hot outside, why not be inside learning, right? The girls love their teachers and their new school, Patterson elementary. Maizie has taken it upon herself to start drafting book reports now because she will be required to submit reports to her teacher later in the school year. Since she read about 40 chapter books this summer, she should have plenty of books to report on. Madilyn really likes the technology class she has each week and has also taken a liking to math. We are all excited for the new school year!!!

Madie's Pool Party

On Saturday Madie had a little pool party. Yes, it was hot, but that is why we had it early in the morning. The kids all had fun and it is so amazing that all the kids could swim. I wish I could do a pool party for all the kids birthdays, they are fun and easy!!!

Madie's 6

Krispy Kreme
Chuck E Cheese
Birthday Bows!
New Outfit
Madie's Pancakes

Last week our little Madilyn turned 6! Holy Cow! It was such a nice day and she is such a sweet little girl. Her day started off by waking up and getting a fun surprise. Since Madilyn loves to shop Ryan thought it would be fun if we made a little store in the house and let her pick out what she wanted. So the night before her birthday Ryan and I put together the "Birthday Boutique". When Madie came out of her room that morning she didn't notice anything except the present on the counter. She opened the present and inside was of course a super cute purse, gum and money!! ( fake money) We let her know that she was going to go and pick out what she wanted for her birthday. When she went into the boutique she was greeted by the Store Manager (Lillie) , the Cashier ( Maizie), Security ( Cooper) and then there was a little shoplifter (Rylie) the kids all had a sign hanging around there neck. Madie ended up picking out a pool float, a swimsuit, hand sanitizer, Band-Aids, giftcard, shoes, 2 dresses, mp3 player, webkinz, and some nail polish. It was such a fun morning the kids all loved being a part of it. And since I went into labor while at a shopping mall, when Madie was born, it pretty much fit perfect.
The rest of the day we went and watched a movie did some more shopping with some of here giftcards, went swimming had dinner at Chuck E. Cheese and ended it by stopping by Krispy Kreme and grabbing her free dozen donuts on the way home. A super busy day but, she had a great sixth birthday
