December
December flew by, but it was filled with many fun activities. We started out the month with decorating the Christmas tree. I love getting all the decorations out right after Thanksgiving, ( Thanksgiving night actually) I just figure I might as well get them up and get use out of them since it is only for a month. This year it was Rylie's turn to put the star on the tree. It is one thing the kids don't fight about because they know every year whose turn it is and that there is no point in fighting over it. After all Christmas decorations were up , we all had a fun trip to the Zoo we love looking at Zoolights. This year I really didn't get pictures because our camera was on it's last leg. We also went to Temple lights this month, it is always so peaceful there. The kids found Nativity sets and were so excited when they found one from London, England, that is were their Grandma and Grandpa Scottie are and they miss them so much. So it was fun to take pictures with the Nativity. The older three and I went with their Grandparents to go see a children's play " Winnie the Pooh Christmas" it was great the girls loved meeting the characters afterwards, Cooper not so much he was a little afraid. Maizie , Madilyn and Cooper all had Holiday parties at school, with the girls I went and volunteered and it was a blast. In Madie's class they made gingerbread houses and there was candy galore. The kids were so excited to make them, half the time they just spent eating the candy , but it was a fun time. In Maizie's class it was a SNOW theme, the kids actually got to put shaving cream all over the place and just play with it. All I could think about is holy cow this is a huge mess. But her teacher is so wonderful that she just let them have fun. Cooper had a "Polar Express" theme and they actually were able to go to the train park, wear their PJ's and have a fun little trip on the train. The kids all love school so much I was worried about how they would feel about break. But it ended up being just that, a nice little break. A few days before Christmas we were able to go ice skating with the family. It was so much fun. It was Lillie's first time so I just had to take as many pictures as I could, she had the smallest size skates they make and she loved it. Of course Cooper is hysterical on the ice, I think every time I looked over at him I would crack up. The older girls REALLY would love to be ice skaters, they sure tried to pretend they were. Then we had CHRISTMAS. What a perfect day , so nice and relaxing. Aunt Kristy was here and it was so nice to have her with us. We spent Christmas hanging out the kids grandparents came over and we just enjoyed ourselves. The big Christmas surprise was that I actually made a turkey. Yep a whole 23lb turkey, I am still shocked I did it and didn't hurt anyone. I am so grateful for this time of year, I love the togetherness feeling that I feel throughout the month. It has been a very crazy year I look forward to what 09' may bring.

Cooper's Birthday/ Thanksgiving
It has been a while but I thought I would share about our Thanksgiving/ Cooper's b-day. It started off like a normal birthday, open presents and have breakfast. Then around noon we headed out to a thanksgiving day feast. It was great we went to a really nice resort and had a buffet style Thanksgiving. It had everything, more food then you can eat, but everything was so good. After almost burning down the house, and almost killing my son with smoke from a grease fire, I really enjoy eating OUT on Thanksgiving. I am not a Turkey cooker!! After our nice Thanksgiving meal we headed home, then headed right back out again to go see the movie Bolt. Cooper picked it out since it was his birthday it was so much fun!!! (good choice Coop) By this time we were all getting pretty tired but, nope more fun. We then headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Scottie's house for birthday cake and Thanksgiving pies. What a busy day, we loved spending the day with family and missed all of those we were not with but, it truly was a wonderful Thanksgiving!

The Party!
Wow, what a party. On the 26th of November we had a big Birthday party for Cooper and Madie ( yes Madie's b-day was a little while ago, but a promise was a promise) It was a blast! We had about 30 of their friends that came, we had a bounce house ( it actually fit in the backyard), had actvities and yummy cupcakes, it really can't get much better. Ryan thinks I was crazy to have the party when he wasn't going to be there to help. I thought , I can do it but really... if I didn't have my two good friends, Rachel and Rosie there helping me I am not to sure what I would have done. You may wonder why I did it during the week, well I thought the weather would be great and I could get a smokin deal on the bounce house. But, when Wednesday rolled around int was thunder and lightening and heavy rain in the morning. For all of you who know us, that is just our luck. I held out hope, the party wasn't until 2:30, the bounce house came at 2 and no rain, the party came and went and still no rain, not until about 30 minutes before they came to get the bounce house did it start to rain. I was thrilled. But really more then anything I am so glad Cooper and Madilyn had a great time. As you can see in the picture by the end of the party Cooper was pooped. And a super HUGE thank you to ROSIE and RACHEL. I really love you guys!

Happy Birthday Cooper!
This past week has been a pretty busy one. But, I want to take a little time to talk just about Cooper. It was his birthday on Thanksgiving this year. Crazy. I never really thought about his birthday landing on a Holiday. He had a great day though. Well I should say he had a great two days. He had a huge birthday party on Wednesday, then on Thursday we celebrated all day for him.
Cooper Ryan was born on November 27, 2004, in Massachusetts. I went to the hospital at 9:30 and he was here at 10:31, it was great. He was a whopping 9lbs. 4oz. I didn't even get to use newborn clothes on him. Since then Cooper has been such a blessing to our family. He is so sweet and fun to be around. He loves to be a little stinker and hide,( I have had a number of scares) but he will also give you such great loves. Cooper is all boy, even living with 5 girls he definitely feels then need to show us he is not girly. Coop loves everyone and will help anyone in need, he is such a wonderful brother to his sister(most days) and will really do whatever they ask him to. Now that he is in school he feels so big , it is great to see him learning and understanding what he is doing.
WE love our Cooper so much. He is such a spunky, firecracker that we would not trade for the world. Happy Birthday Cooper! You are a big 4 year old know.
Mom and Dad love you sooooooooooo, much!
